MotionVeo Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how MotionVeo collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you visit the website, create an account, use the creative workspace, purchase a plan, or contact support. By using MotionVeo, you acknowledge this policy.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide
- name, email address, and account credentials;
- plan, subscription, payment, transaction, and manual-payment review records;
- prompts, generation settings, reference-media details, output metadata, and gallery records needed to deliver your work; and
- support tickets, contact messages, and other communications you choose to send.
2.2 Information collected automatically
When you use the website, we may receive your IP address, browser and device information, operating system, session events, referring page, pages visited, approximate timing, and security or error logs. We use this information to keep sessions reliable and investigate abuse.
3. How we use information
- create and manage accounts and authenticate sign-ins;
- submit generations, report status, deliver media, and maintain your private gallery;
- calculate quotas, process payments, review manual payments, and prevent fraud;
- answer support requests and send essential service, security, or billing notices;
- monitor performance, troubleshoot errors, and protect users, systems, and rights;
- comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests; and
- improve workflows and reliability using aggregated or operational information where appropriate.
4. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share only what is reasonably necessary with trusted providers that help us host the website, store protected data, process payments, deliver email, operate the generation service, or provide security and support. Providers are expected to protect information and use it only for the services they perform.
We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or lawful government request, or when necessary to protect MotionVeo, our users, property, or the public from fraud, abuse, or an emergency.
5. Data security
MotionVeo uses HTTPS, server-side credential handling, access controls, session protections, rate limits, and protected storage appropriate to the service. Generation-service credentials are kept on the server and are not placed in public HTML or sent to browsers. No transmission or storage method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
We use essential session cookies to keep you signed in and protect forms. We may store a theme preference and an announcement-dismissal preference in your browser. These controls are not used to sell personal information. You can clear or restrict cookies in your browser, but some account features may stop working.
7. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live and subject to legal limits, you may ask us to:
- provide access to personal information we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate or incomplete account information;
- provide a portable copy of information where feasible;
- delete information that is no longer needed, subject to billing, security, and legal retention; or
- stop non-essential communications. Essential account, security, and transaction notices may still be sent.
Send a request through support using the email associated with your account. We may verify your identity before completing it.
8. Data retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain your gallery and account history, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, enforce agreements, and meet tax or legal obligations. When information is no longer required, we delete it, anonymize it, or securely isolate it according to our operational processes.
9. International processing
MotionVeo and its providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we use appropriate contractual, technical, or other safeguards for cross-border processing.
10. Children's privacy
MotionVeo is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact support so we can investigate and remove it where appropriate.
11. Third-party links
The website may link to third-party payment, identity, or other websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Review those policies before sharing information with them.
12. Billing and refunds
Payment and refund records are retained as account and financial records. Approved adjustments are handled according to the applicable MotionVeo plan, payment method, and legal requirements. We do not request or store full card credentials when a third-party payment provider processes the payment.
